Pilates
Pilates focus on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles. Westside offers group and private Pilates Reformer classes, Chair Pilates, as well as Mat Pilates group exercise classes. Members that are experienced at Pilates have free access to our equipment during any down time around scheduled classes.
